Products & Compatibility

Fit, OE numbers and availability. The product description in the shop is the definitive source.

Does the part fit my vehicle or engine?

What matters is comparing the OE number — the part number assigned by the vehicle manufacturer for the component. We maintain up-to-date vehicle application lists, but in some cases there's no way around comparing OE numbers directly.

Please compare the numbers before purchasing. Our support team works with exactly the same data shown in the product description.

What information does support need to check compatibility?

One piece of information settles it: the engine code (three to four letters, e.g. BPW, CFCA, CFFB). You'll find it in the vehicle registration document (Part I) in field P.5, on the sticker in the service booklet or spare wheel well, and stamped or affixed on the engine block.

Also tell us the make, model and year of manufacture so we can double-check. Year of manufacture and horsepower alone aren't enough: the same model line can contain different engine variants that need completely different solutions. It's quickest if the engine code is already in your first message.

Why are several OE numbers listed in the product description?

Over a vehicle's production run, manufacturers change components or switch suppliers. This usually results in a new OE number being assigned.

That's why our product descriptions often list several OE numbers. The part we ship fits all the numbers listed there.

What does an upgrade oil pump do?

It improves lubrication and reduces wear at the bearing points. Upgrade oil pumps are developed and tested for high loads and performance increases.

Where can I find technical details for a product?

In the product description in the online shop. It shows compatibility information, OE numbers, scope of delivery and the available application lists for each item.

It's worth checking there before you get in touch: support works with the same data.

When will an out-of-stock item be available again?

Despite ongoing production, an item can be out of stock during peak periods. Unfortunately, we can't give you an exact forecast.

You can, however, leave your email address directly on the product page in the shop. As soon as the item is available again, you'll automatically receive a notification.

Order & Shipping

Delivery times, shipping methods, payment and international orders. The details are always kept up to date in the shop.

How long does shipping take?

You'll see your exact delivery date directly in the shop: select your country, and the delivery calendar shows the expected arrival date for that specific order. If your payment is received by 1:30 pm, we usually ship the same business day; after that, the delivery time starts on the next business day.

What shipping methods are available, and which ones offer tracking?

You'll find an up-to-date overview of all shipping methods at shop.mm-hp.de/Versandarten. It also explains which shipping methods include tracking.

What payment options do I have?

You have several ways to pay for your order. You'll find the current overview at shop.mm-hp.de/Zahlungsmoeglichkeiten.

Do you ship on weekends and public holidays?

We ship Monday through Friday. There is no shipping on Sundays and public holidays. Orders placed during that time go out on the next business day. The delivery calendar in the shop automatically takes this into account when calculating dates.

What do I need to know about ordering from abroad?

Can't select your country in the shop? Let us know where you'd like it delivered — we can enable many countries on request. The delivery calendar in the shop shows the expected delivery date for your country. We don't offer express shipping.

For deliveries outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, UK, USA), the recipient is responsible for customs duties and import charges. We include the necessary customs paperwork with the shipment; if the courier requests documents, point them to the enclosed commercial invoice. Please provide a phone number when ordering if possible — many customs processes ask for one.

Instructions come as an eGuide: online, always up to date, and accessible with your login credentials. Plus scope of delivery, tools and installation.

How do I access the instructions (eGuide) I purchased?

Products delivered with an eGuide come with an online guide instead of a printed one. After purchase, we send your login credentials by email to the address you provided at checkout.

Use these credentials to log in on our website and access your guide.

I haven't received my login credentials. What now?

First check your spam folder. If it's not there either, the login page on our website can help. Click "Forgot password?" there, enter the email address you used at purchase, and set a new password via the link we send you.

You can then log in right away and use your eGuide. If you're still stuck, just get in touch with us — we're happy to help.

My login isn't working. What can I do?

The eGuide lives in our knowledge base, not the shop: log in at wiki.mm-hp.de/login — the shop login credentials are different. Use the email address you ordered with.

If it still doesn't work, use "Forgot password" there and set a new password via the link we send you. If that doesn't help either, email us from your order email address — we'll reset your access manually.

How long do I have access to the eGuide?

Your access is tied to you personally and is designed to last indefinitely. You can open the eGuide as often as you like — even if the installation happens months after purchase, or you want to look something up years later.

The eGuides are protected content. We therefore reserve the right to review access after an extended period or in case of irregularities, and to temporarily suspend it in individual cases. If your access ever stops working, just get in touch — we'll reactivate it. If you own our product, you get the guide for it too, today and later on.

Is the eGuide available as a PDF or for printing?

No. The eGuide is deliberately an online-only guide and isn't provided as a PDF, download, or printout. This protects our development and documentation work, and it also means the online version is always up to date — improvements from real-world use are continuously incorporated.

A smartphone or tablet with an internet connection is all you need in the workshop. The eGuide guides you step by step through the installation with images and text.

Does the package include a printed guide?

No. Products with an eGuide are shipped without a printed guide. You access the instructions online with your login credentials. That way it stays up to date and doesn't get lost in the workshop.

What's included in the delivery? Do I need special tools?

You'll find the exact scope of delivery on the relevant product page in the shop. What we guarantee: the conversion kits contain everything needed beyond standard workshop equipment — including the special tools for the critical steps. Standard automotive tools (ratchet set, torque wrench, lift or pit) are assumed.

Two practical notes: some of the included tools are single-use, designed for exactly one conversion — visible wear afterward is expected. We generally don't sell individual parts from the kits separately; if something arrives damaged, just get in touch with us.

Can you recommend a workshop for installation?

We don't maintain a directory of workshops and deliberately don't make recommendations: we can't continuously assess the quality of work at a third-party workshop, and we won't give a recommendation we can't stand behind.

The installation is manageable for any qualified auto workshop, as well as for technically skilled DIYers — it's not a plug-and-play product for beginners. A tip from many customer reports: ask your workshop whether they work from an illustrated step-by-step guide; you can show them the eGuide after purchase.

Returns & Complaints

Clearly defined: returns go through the right of withdrawal, complaints come directly to us.

How can I return an item?

Returns are handled through the right of withdrawal. The details and applicable deadlines are set out in the withdrawal policy in our online shop. Just follow the steps described there.

How can I file a complaint about my purchase?

Send us an email at info@mm-hp.de or use our contact form.

Describe the problem as precisely as possible and attach photos that clearly show the affected area. That way we can review your case quickly.

What helps support answer my request faster?

The quickest way is with the item number, your vehicle's OE number, and — for technical issues — clear photos.

Support works with the same data shown in the product description in the shop. Checking it beforehand often saves a follow-up question.
